TMF Group Fund Operations (Ireland) Limited receives Central Bank of Ireland Authorisation
TMF Group, a leading provider of compliance and business administration services around the world, today announced that TMF Group Fund Operations (Ireland) Limited has received authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland to offer its comprehensive suite of fund administration and transfer agency services to alternative funds.
The licence comes after the successful acquisition of Goodbody Fund Management, the AIFM and ManCo division of Goodbody Stockbrokers UC, one of Ireland's leading financial services firms, back in October 2023. As a result, TMF Group will be able to provide expert fund services support to our global portfolio of private capital clients.
Ireland is a critical part of TMF Group’s international expansion strategy and this authorisation further reinforces the company’s commitment to this key jurisdiction with a renewed focus on alternative funds.
Daniel Max, Head of Global Solutions, TMF Group, commented: “This is another important step in the development of TMF Group’s global fund services offering. Securing this additional licence will enable us to accommodate an even broader spectrum of investment strategies for our clients. Furthermore, it empowers TMF Group to deliver comprehensive end-to-end services within this significant regulated jurisdiction.”
TMF Group’s James Coughlan, Market Head of British Isles and Ireland and Kevin Doyle, Head of Funds for UK and Ireland, added: “Ireland is a premier domicile for funds and a pivotal jurisdiction for our expanding funds business. Regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Ireland to provide fund administration services is a significant milestone and speaks to our strategy of aligning our range of fund solutions to the needs of our global client base.”
